The addition to the Mein ELSTER service offering.

Document scan

With the MeinELSTER+ app, you can take photos of all important receipts (e.g. tradesmen's invoices, donation receipts, etc.) for your next income tax return and upload them to your Mein ELSTER user account.
This means you have your receipts to hand when you need them for your income tax return and don't have to search for them.

In the app, a proposal with automatically recognized values and categories is created from your photographed receipts, which you only need to check. Thanks to this preliminary work, the values of the receipts can be easily assigned to the corresponding input fields when the tax return is prepared later. This largely eliminates the need for manual typing.

Tax Return in One Click

The "One-Click Tax Return" feature allows users with straightforward tax situations to file their income tax return for the 2025 calendar year in just a few minutes. meinElster+ uses existing data and standard rates to do this. You’ll automatically receive a tax proposal that you can review and confirm directly in the app or adjust as needed.

Inbox and forms

In addition to the functions for scanning and uploading receipts to your user account, you will also see your inbox in Mein ELSTER. This contains messages (e.g. notifications and other documents) for you.

You can also easily submit receipts or send a message to the tax office in the "Forms" menu item in the app.
